Thermo-Aspen is ideal for sauna use, as it does not secrete resin, splinter, or become uncomfortable in high heat. The thermal modification process, which uses heat, steam, and pressure, enhances the wood's properties, making it more dimensionally stable, water-resistant, and better at resisting decay, pests, and harmful fungi. The S4SEE profile includes four smooth sides and softened edges for added comfort, making it perfect for benches and floors. PROSAUNAS wood varies in length, weight, and dimension and qualifies for flat rate shipping to the contiguous United States. Freight quotes can be provided for shipments to Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Flat Rate Freight (Boards up to 8’ in Length)

Wooden materials up to 8’ in length and under 40 pieces can generally ship Fed-Ex ground, securely packaged in cardboard. Wooden materials up to 8’ in length and over 40 pieces can ship LTL-liftgate, securely packaged on a custom-made wooden pallet/skid. Board quantity, profile, length, weight, and order composition will dictate the best method of transportation. Wood-only orders to the contiguous United States follow the shipping schedule below.

Note: On occasion, remote delivery areas may not qualify for these rates. It is strongly suggested that delivery areas be discussed with clients to understand concerns with receiving truck shipments as delivery complexities can complicate transportation timelines and result in increases in flat-rate shipping costs.

• Sauna heaters, doors, or accessories, when combined with wooden material orders, assist in offsetting transportation costs.

Flat Rate Freight (Boards over 8’ and up to 10’ in Length)

Wooden materials over 8’ and up to 10’ in length ship LTL, securely packaged on a custom-made wooden pallet/skid. Due to the length of this material, shipments do not qualify for a liftgate delivery and will require a dock for unloading with machinery or hand offloading at the installation site. Wood-only orders to the contiguous United States follow the shipping schedule below.

It is strongly suggested that delivery areas be discussed with clients to understand concerns with receiving truck shipments as delivery complexities can complicate transportation timelines and result in increases in flat-rate shipping costs. There is a standard 1‑hour offloading timeframe before additional delivery charges accrue.

These items will often ship on a secondary wooden skid/pallet for customer convenience during offloading. In most cases, there are transportation cost efficiencies gained when combining multiple items with wood orders.

The weight and packaging of most wooden material orders require delivery by special appointment and on a wooden pallet. The driver is responsible for curbside delivery only. Prior to shipping this product, we may contact customers to share shipment details and discuss any extenuating delivery circumstances that may complicate or cause additional delivery expenses.
